I am the Doherty Marine Biology Postdoctoral Scholar at Bowdoin College's Schiller Coastal Studies Center.
My research focuses on understanding how ecological and evolutionary processes can promote species resilience to changing climates in marine ecosystems.
Currently, I am investigating interactions between eelgrass meadows and oyster aquaculture, monitoring eelgrass community dynamics along the entire coast of Maine, and curious about patterns of local adaptation in both eelgrass and rockweeds.
As a scientist and mentor I strive to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in academia.
